Bio

Daniel Bycroft is a Special Counsel at Merton Lawyers where he also heads the firm’s litigation department.

He is widely known as one of Queensland's best dispute resolution lawyers practicing in all areas of litigation but specialising in strategic negotiation, contractual disagreements, building and construction disputes along with corporate and personal insolvency.

He is an officer of the Supreme Court of Queensland along with the Federal and High Courts of Australia.

In his spare time he is the Chief Operating Officer and ASIC Responsible Manager of equity crowdfunding platform Crowdfunding.com.au where he guides the company’s overall direction, strategy and compliance.

He has an Honours Degree in Law from Bond University and has also studied in the United States at the University of Utah. He is also conversant in Mandarin and has an in depth knowledge of Chinese law through studies at Suzhou University along with the East China University of Law and Politics in Shanghai.
